We see modern brand identity as a dynamic and participatory entity. Yes, the identity is sacred and its use should be subject to strict guidelines and controls. However, the best identities are the ones which have a solid and unwavering base, but at the same time allow a certain degree of mutability and variety, encouraging the participation of the communications team, stakeholders and the end user. This also allows the identity to adapt to different circumstances and future-proofs it as well.
