Show & Tell 14: Shifting Spaces-Designing Motion by Cheyenne Baptiste

We’re back with our latest instalment of the Show & Tell series. This is the first of our Show & Tell tour, which will feature events around the country at some places you’d expect and others that are totally off the map.

Up until now the events have been hosted at our studio in the Fernandes Industrial Center.  As of May 20th Show & Tell is on the road and we’re teaming up with the Normandie Under the Trees to kick off this exciting series.

Derrick Lewis / ISLANDpeople

Derrick Lewis is the founder and Creative Director of ISLANDpeople, one of the leading event management companies in the region. As founder, he stewards the company’s vision to be the most innovative event management company in the world.

ISLANDpeople is of course very famous for its Trinidad Carnival band and parties, but as an event management company it has been involved in a whole lot more, working with UNICEF, TDC (World Cup Campaign), the Eventology Conference and the Opening Ceremony for CHOGM.

Derrick is also on a mission to share our culture with the world. He’ll be talking about ISLANDpeople, and their plans to make it a global phenomenon.

Ken Armstrong

Ken Armstrong is an Architect Designer with an international reputation for design innovation within Architecture & Urban Design and crossing boundaries fusing Architecture, Graphics, Design and Branding. He has worked at Norman Fosters Architects on projects such as the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank HQ in Hong Kong, Stanstead Airport and the BBC HQ in London.

Ken is a founder of UBU [Urban Bubble Unlimited]: a progressive leisure company that’s behind the launch pad for the visionary Urban Bubble Clubs soon rocketing and landing in Cities and Towns all over the World. These Futuristic 21st Century Clubs offer weary urbanites fresh new ways for better quality of life though revitalising fun from cool and constantly evolving Health, Sport and Entertainment experiences.
